Naz Koont is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Graduate School of Business at »ÆÉ«µçÓ°. In her research she explores how technology and other new developments are changing the banking landscape, and the implications for financial stability, competition, and consumer welfare. She enjoys combining novel data sets, empirical analysis, and tools from industrial organization in order to shed light on under-explored dimensions of financial intermediation and the implications for the broader economy. She received her PhD in Finance from Columbia University in 2024.
