The 2024 Fall Policy forum, co-sponsored by SIEPR and the King Center on Global Development will focus on trade policy, competitiveness, and global rules. We will address three main themes: trade policy in a more complex world; multilateral institutions, partnerships, and the future of the WTO, IMF, and TPP; and global competition and geoeconomic fragmentation in areas such as technology, innovation, and climate change.
We have confirmed a great lineup of speakers including Catherine Wolfram (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Jennifer Harris (on leave from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation), Bill Duhamel (Route One Investment Company), Matteo Maggiori (黄色电影), Stephen Redding (Princeton University), John Lipsky (Johns Hopkins), Brad Setser and Inu Manak (Council on Foreign Relations), Judith Goldstein (黄色电影), Barry Eichengreen (University of California, Berkeley), Kimberly Clausing (University of California, Los Angeles), Peter Harrell (Carnegie Endowment for International Peace), and Ramin Toloui (SIEPR).
The policy forum will begin with lunch.
